   k i got a super alladin live and going to solder it is al i have to do is solder it on the lpc bus on my x box and do i have to flash my modchip? all i want to do is play cd-r games on it thanks!

   i've never dealt with that chip, but as far as i know you have to flash any chip in order to play backups.
