I downloaded a bitorrent...and I needed a Password to extract it...what gives?

    How come I cant extract the bitorrent that took me 3 days to download? Does anyone know how to get around this or find out the pw? I'm a newb..i know.

    Password is usually the stuff between the square brackets that is in the filename i.e. [blahblah]

    However it might be posted in the releaser's forums and when you download the file there are often webpage shortcuts to the homepage. Most forums require you to register.

    usaully places like solops2 will require you to get the password from their site solops2.com... Where did the torrent originate from (site)?

    yeah, it was solops2 i think. It was in spanish so I didnt know what to do. Then when I tried to register, they wouldnt let me register my email address from yahoo or hushmail.
