I've searched the web, for hours. Infact, I've searched for 6 hours already. This is my only hope. Why, when I click a file on a website so I can download it on ed2k, why do I get this message 'ed2k is not a registered protocol'? I got mozilla firefox as my internet explorer. I've tried just about everything... Please help!

thats very very odd for mozilla/firefox

only thing I can suggest is download spybot.....adaware and run a spyware session to see if you have anything a little evil in there ....

Hi when I had this prob I deleted overnet from control panel add or remove prog then reinstalled from orignal download in programme files.I had first checked if the free programme was avialable could not find it.I was using a spyware programme but did not check what was being deleted the links were removed as spy ware.If you make sure when you relownload to allow ed2 links it shoulb be fine.Good luck
