I have a computer that crashed and I am pretty sure its just the hd (my younger brother kept on turning it off the manual way) if I switched hds with another computer (that is xp) will the hd have xp on it or is operating systems installed on another component on a compuetr?
Hi If I'm correct when an op system is installed it takes info from the BIOS on that motherboard which would prevent you from doing that. You will probably need to do a clean re install. Sorry to drop a bummer on you.
