    Hi
I have just finished installing my new xecuter 3. But the controllers won't work! When i flashed the bios i had to use the dvd remote, and now when i boot up with the chip enabled the controlelrs dont work and neither does the dvd remote.

Also, when i boot up with the chip disabled it attempts to turn itself on three times and the successfully turns itself on, but i get nothing on the screen and the eject led flashes red and green.

    Many thanks

If you get FRAG (flashing red and green) on your eject button then the mod is not quite sitting correctly!

    Do loop is working

   )

What do you mean by that? I have soldered to DO cable to the motherboard and secured it with electrical tape so the DO is definately soldered on. Why wouldn't i be able to use the controllers?

so you will need to wiggle it around a little more to make sure the pins are firm and of course make sure that the screw is as firm as it will go without any damage to the thread - you MUST be careful not to move the d0 pin around too much - it is very sharp and can damage the tracks around this point and render your Xbox useless.

Thanks for that. Do you have any idea about the controller though?

could be related to the chip problem as your console is not booting properly

It boots fine into the X3 bios but i get FRAG when i disable it, so it can't be the chip and if it was how would i fix the controller problem?
    Thanks

Didn't happen before you got the chip....right? I can only suggest re-seating it. Other than that you may have a faulty chip.

Apart from what I've said already...I'm outta ideas

OK, so i either need to wiggle the chip around a bit or it is faulty. You said something about a screw, is this on the chip itself because i couldnt find it.
