i heard a rumor about not being able to burn copyright dvds

    is it true, you cant copy a dvd you have bought? I thought you could make a "back up" of all material you legally own? I know you can do anything you want on a PC, I am kinda bummed I got rid of my pc for this mac.,.. I love it, its spiffy and all but you cant do anything with them it seems like..

    hmmm - copying with a mac? is that what you mean, i don't think its possible, then again - i don't have one...

    but - legally? its a bit hazy at the moment, sum things say you can make a backup - sum things say you can't...

    yea a mac. is there some kind of decoding software that can be purchased or better yet downloaded?
