I made a DVD using Xilisoft DVD Creator, it plays very well in my computer, but failed when inserted in my Samsung player. At the very start, I thought it’s the problem with burning, and I made a DVD Folder using Xilisoft DVD Creator, and then burn into Video-DVD using Nero7, but the problem still occurs. What I use is DVD+RW disc, who can let me know what’s up. Thanks

what model of dvd player do you have? does it play DVD+RW media?

if you open up your disc using the computer do you see the audio_TS and video_TS folders?

Yeah, a lot of standalone dvd players won't play DVD+RW/DVD-RW discs.
    Try a +R or -R disc.

Also, remember to bitset/booktype your +R format disks to ROM during the burn. This will improve readability on stand alone players.

But, not all burners have bitsetting capability. If yours does not, you won't be able to do this.

it's not the problem of your software.
As I know, some Samsung player doesn’t support DVD+RW disc, u can visit http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php to find out the disc type your player supported.

    Thanks very much!
Indeed, I found that my Samsung DVD-V8500 doesn’t support DVD+RW disc. This time I got a DVD+R disc, and made a DVD using Xilisoft DVD Creator again, it can work now.
