I need a BIOS

I need to reflash my mod chip, but the site i got my BIOS from is down. Can anyone please pm me with the location of a X2 4983 BIOS download.

 

All that stuff isn't on a website. I PM'd you with a link to a tut.

 

I just got a executer 2.3b pro. Just wondering if I flash with the executer 4981 bios will it be able to play games backed up to a DVD and play games backed up to the hard drive?

Well i dont have one yet, but i am going to get the executer 2.3 pro.

 

you don't flash the chip with evoX, goto x-scene.com and read more. You aren't even close.

 

I know what to do now! I install the chip, pop the slayers evox installer and flash the chip with the old bios, then install evox and update everything from there! Am i right or what?

 

Install the chip, make a BIOS disk, make evoX boot disk (or auto install disk), and put evoX on your xbox.

 

Arent i flashing the chip through the slayers auto installer with the old bios?

 

You can do that if Slayer's has BIOS on there, then you must transfer newer BIOS to the xbox and use FlashX to reflash it. Networking the xbox to pc.

Im guessing that you probobally solderded your chip to your mobo, if so what type of wattage would you recommened. I just came back from radio shack with a 15/30 watts solder iron with some flux solder. Is that okay to solder with?

p.s: i purchased clear flux solder..is that okay for the xbox mobo?? I would really appreciate it if you could answer me back!
