I was having problems with my dell demention 3000 so i snt it to some guy and the HDD's were all messed up. he reformated one and the other one was fried. but now when i turn my computer on i cant do anything. it says that i has found new hardware, ethernet controller. and like 4 other things.) its all comming out as new hardware and i dont have the system restore disk or anyother disk's for the hardware. everything in it is what i bought at the store. nothing added only another hdd what can i do?? thanks in advanced
Since the drives have been wiped, all the drivers for the hardware with the PC have been lost. Consequently, they need reinstalling. if you don't have them, you'll have to find them on the internet.
theres are like four driver that are comming up as new. eternet audio video and vga. the screen looks all werid. so the dell website would be were i could get it? yes i tried restore and it didnt work
@V13tor, Did you have the service done at a store or did a friend do it for you? The problem is that all who ever did the work for you, did not put the proper drivers back in, all they did was re-install windows and nothing else. If A shop did this for you, take it back and tell them to finish the job they started. They should test the computer and make sure it's working properly before handing it back to the customer. Good Luck
Is your ethernet, video and audio built into the motherboard? Or do you have a seperate video card, audio card and so on?
