I need some ideas on computer programs that will rip a sound track from a music dvd to either full size wave file at a 44 khz or 48 khz sampling frequency in stereo or mono or an ac-3 sound track from 160 to 320 kps in stereo or mono.

I have a program called audio dvd creator that will encode a full size 44 or 48 khz full size wavefile to dvd thus being able to put 5 or 6 full size cds on one dvd-r.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    THANK YOU.

What is a music dvd? Is it a DVD-Video with the recording of a music concert or a DVD-Audio ? For dvd-video there a several programs available, do a google search for DVD audio ripper or extractor.

    it's not dvd audio .

It's two different things i think.

What i'm talking about is ripping a 48 khz dvd soundtrack and ripping to a 48 khz or 44 khz wave file or ac-3 sound file that can be burnt to cd or dvd.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND REPLY.

I use AC3dec program that I got from afterdawn website and is also free.
It will convert to a wav file that you can burn to a CD.
