I/O Problem

    Ive got no idea wat it means but when i play a movie in windows media player ... it tells me

    'The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.'

    Can anyone help?

    its more than one

    i have no idea how to fix it ... ive searched around and everything ... none of my media players like wmediaplayer winamp work

    Do any movies at all play?

    You could be missing some codec's try re-installing your DVD playing software.

    Windows media player is unadulterated crap. Try Windvd or powerdvd.
    Anything but windows.
