I have a desktop that works great from 1996 that I only use for burning DVDs; I can easily reload Win 98 when I need to (only 2X since 1996) and it has 2 new wonderful burning drives; now it has only a 20 GB HD on it and uses Win 98SE; can I just buy an old "new" HD to increase the HD amount and pop it in? What #s are/were available for it? Even only adding 80 GB would be great. I assume I can add another one and just have 2 drives running, correct? I CANNOT hook up an outside drive, as the USB ports are NOT powered. Anyone who has some quick info on how to know what HD specs I need to know about and where on my computer to find them, what to search for on eBay for a drive, and then a link on how to pop it in, would be greatly appreciated.
