i have a samsung MS25 drive with xtreme firmware.
whilst flashing it failed, and the floppy with the firmware has been lost. the drive does not work and will not show up in mtkflash if i try to read the firmware!

i want to replace the drive but how can i do this if i dont have the special key (or orig.bin firmware) ????

    Thanks

    You can't.

BUT. You MIGHT be able to pull the partial firmware off of it. Use the bad-flash method with the VIA 6241 and obtain the firmware that's on it. Pray that it's 256kb and that firmware toolbox shows you the key. That's the only way I can think of if it failed during flashing. Otherwise... it's a Brick.
