Okay, i ripped half the chapters of a dvd and loaded up ifo edit.

now i openned up the Video_TS.ifo file, and pushed get vts sectors, like the guides say. but then the ifo file duplicates itself and another different one appears.

    like this:

    Video_TS.ifo <- before GetVTS sectors

i push getvts sectors... and i get this

    Video_TS.ifo <- the original one i think?
Video_TS.ifo <-where'd this guy come from?
    VST_01_0.ifo <-why's this here?

next the guide (the mpucoder one) says to load the vst_01_0.ifo file, which just materialized when i pushed get vts sectors on the video_ts.ifo file. Do i get vts sectors on the one that just popped up, or do i open the one in my video_ts directory and get vts sectors on that one?

ps: its seems whatever i do, when i get vts sectors it says "problems found! endsector wrong" or something like that.

any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

You're not supposed to click on Video_TS.ifo and hit "GetVTS sectors". You should open up the VTS_01_0.ifo or whichever .ifo corresponds to the movie-click on that file and hit get VTS sectors and it should work. Dont forget to click save afterwards otherwise it wont work in your dvd player.
