I have Dishnet satellite which goes into my VHS VCR and then into the TV set. I want to record some homemade VHS tapes to send to family and want to burn them onto a DVD. I can't figure out how to set the cables up and what to do to start. I'm almost at the point that I return the DVD recorder to Walmart. Can someone give me a helping hand as the instructions don't really make much sense. Thanks, Mary Ann
This is a stand alone DVD Player I assume Get some Audio Video Cables and then connect them in this manner Audio out from VCR to Audio In on the DVDR (This may be 2 cable's if your VCR is stereo)ushually red and white Video out from VCR to Video in to DVDR ushually yellow Is your Sattelite reciever plug into your VCR through AV Cables or with one Coax cable? Need that answer to further assist
