    Hi

I'm having loads of miss burns on Xbox images

I'm using Verbatim with newest IMGburn. I set to burn and come back and the running timer is still ticking up but the burn has frozen on 50% (sometimes more than 50% i think). when i click close twice IMGburn says it heard me the first time.

I tried to Auto write speed to 1x for the disk and 1x for the drive, instead of 4 which i usually use.

When i go to burn it says writing at 3.7?

I getting through a lot of disks, my burned is SONY optiarc AD-5260s (and is only about 1 year old) and only used occasionally.

    What might be causing this?
Do i need a new burner?
Why is IMGburn ignoring the AWS setting of 1x?

    Any advice welcome

    Cheers

    heres a log
i worked out my drive doesnt burn at 1x speed.

    also

Duplex Secure's SPTD driver can have a detrimental effect on drive performance.

found out Duplex Secure's SPTD is left over from daemon tools doesnt uninstall after removing daemon tools. but running the SPTD installer and clicking uninstall uninstalls it. (Daemon Tools 3.47 doesn't use SPTD so you can use that as a Virtual Drive.)

    cool

I'm not sure how i helped

I swapped to a 'ihas burner' with 'Burner max' (was working pretty well)

then to an xkey, a bit experimental but great when you have it set up
