it works totally fine until the playstation2 logo pops up.
    after the logo it says

its impossible to help with the information you have given.

    What mod chip?
    What brand dvdr discs?
    +r or -r?
    What game(s) have you tried?
What version ps2 do you have?
    ETC....?

Lots of idea's... Modchip might be bad/cheap/garbage/ or a clone. Might be bad DVD media, might have been a bad burn. The more information the better. If you burned the DVD as DVD+r, did you set the booktype as DVD-rom? If you did use DVD+r, some older ps2's seem not to like them. If you're using DVD-r and have a slim model, might be the same problem as the previous situation. Some Slimlines are picky about DVD-R, just like some Fat ps2's are picky or just incompatible with DVD+r.
