I'm still not getting anywhere

    I can't burn with the nerosmart please if someone could even just
    give me link to a free burner online so i can get these off the drive and view on tv thru dvd i would so apperciate it

    If You use Nero 6 or 7 try to locate Nero Recode or Express tu burn DVD.
    If that does not work try (free) ImgBurn.

    how do you know which codecs to download im using nero 7
    I keep getting a error that says there's not enough space for the recording process

    The message has nothing to do with codec. It has to do with your HD free space.
    If you have two hard drives or partitions on the drive, check where Nero puts its temp file and change it to drive with more free space, it should work.

    ok this is my problem how do i burn movies i have downloaded off limewire,utorrent etc most of them seem to be in this avi
    form
    I have been able to burn a couple disney movies that play in the home dvd player and thats about it

    Most likely they are Mpeg4(Xvid, DivX) type. You have to convert them to Mpeg2, unless your DVD player will play Mpeg4. Get Gspot software (free), it will tell you what file format it is. There are free converters available, but you heva to check internet. I do not get involved with downloads.
