forgive me if this has been covered before but I have been looking around for 3 days and have not found an answer. I have a .img file of a dvd and dont know how to get it to vcd. At this time I dont have a dvd burner but am hoping santa will bring one( a hint to my wife). I tried one of the guides with dvd2avi and it didnt work. Can someone point me in the right direction

Actually last night I did a lil research and I burned my image with Nero. It worked perfectly. You have to burn it as a foreign image file. Check out this website. It works with later versions also.

Well what your wanting to do is download Daemon Tools its free i think so that you can mount it as an actual DVD drive. Then you can use a DVD to MPEG tool, and then just burn the mpeg to VCD
