You need to put a blank disk in first to activate the payload tool
I did insert a blank DVD+R DL
Also, why is the name of the product mentioned as LiteOn DVD Writer Internal IHAS124-04 DU/IHAS122-05 WU here http://www.indiashopkart.com/index.php?id_product=916&controller=product? Is an iHas124-04 DU equivalent to iHas122-05 WU?
yep great solution for coasters and messing about is the xk3y, download put it on external..... hey presto
Its not supported are the WU versions
Can I claim a return on any grounds? Can I use this drive to burn XGD3 for offline play at least?
I sent a message to the seller saying that I was looking for a non-WU drive but got a WU drive and asked him to check the availability of either a non-WU iHas124 or a non-WU iHas122 drive.
But in case he doesn't agree with replacing my drive, what are the chances of WU revisions being compatible with the payload tool in the near future? The team-xecuter forums not working is also making things worse.
Good news guys, the seller agreed to give me a refund for the drive. Once I get the money back, I'll look for another drive I can go for.
Guys I just came across this drive: http://theitwares.com/index.php?rou...mania&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=direct_link
And it's on the list of payload compatible drives. If it's revision B, it can be cross flashed.
So which one would you prefer, the iHas124-04DU or the Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS ?
I found these on ebay, they all offer international shipping
Sorry mate, those drives aren't in my budget. Do you think I should go for the Asus one or the iHas124-4DU one?
Well, they are both on the compatibility list, BurnerMAX Payload Tool Compatibility, so I guess it would be personal preference
Guys I spoke to the seller and he says he says that the asus he has is revision model d
Now I'm not even sure if a revision model d of this drive exists. Should I go ahead and order it?
Note: The cache size of the drive is 2MB
I was able to get the ds8a9sh drive to burn an xgd3 game successfully. But I used poor media and the quality wasn't close to being safe to use online, I used memorex, going to try verbs next and see what I can pull out of this drive.
