Hey Guys! Ok, I've been told that DVD+Rs work on some Version 4 PS2s. I wanted to buy an old PS2 from a friend, and install swap magic and a slide card. My problem is, I can only burn DVD+Rs. I don't want to buy all of this stuff and find out I can't! How do I figure out if a Version 4 PS2 will play DVD+Rs?
(Would a movie burned on a DVD+R work.....?)

The movie thing is how i figured it out. I took one of my back up movies i have burned to dvd+r and put it in the system. Ran no problems.

So i figured what the heck and tried to back up one of my games and thank fully it worked as well.

I have never bought dvd-r discs but think i am going to start. just so i have different test beds for things.

Thanks a lot. By the way what type of DVD+R do you use? I hear that a lot of PS2 backups won't run properly unless the medium is of good quality
