importing a hdd

    Hi i was wonder ing if i can import a jap or us hdd and use it on my ps2?
    if so which one, internal or external?
    can i use my swap magic to boot the utility disk?

    i want to know the same thing plus will a US HDD work on a UK PS2

    The Japanese external HDD only works with Japanese model SCPH-10000 and SCPH-18000 PS2's with the PCMCIA ports as how that is how they connect. You might have trouble running the HDD utility disc if you import it as how it has the standard region protect on it and it detects modchip installations.
