Importing sound into video

    Hi guys what i am looking to do is to...

    What i have done is recorded a video of my band and now i want to put a pre recorded song into the video. Could you tell me what software i need and possibly how to go about it.

    There are probably better ways but I do have an idea. What you can do is use TMPGEnc and select your video and your sound files and combine them. The output will be a type of mpeg if you do it right.

    What are you going to DO with the mixed video?

    Its just for use as a promotional thing for the band, just so that we have somehting to give agents instead of just a cd. Its always better when you can see what a bamd can play like live.

    So I take it, you want a DVD from this?
    If so, just get an authoring program that can accept elementary streams.
    There's lots, from ReJig to DVDLab Pro, and plenty inbetween.
    No need to mux it into a mpg first.
    Once you decide how you want the finished product to look/act, we can recommend a specific method of doing it.
    What format is the video in now? Avi, mpg, or? What format is the audio track in? On a CD, .wav, mp3, mp2, ac3, or?
