Inerlace Question

    drcl....I have tried many resolutions in capturing and have captured at ntsc480. The problem appears in my intial capture to AVI, before ever using TMPG. I'm not sure about the artifacts being black but if you go this link, you can see the photo I posted on the DVDR Help site.

    I have tried two different cameras with the same results. I'm not familiar with my capture card settings and will have to look into it. I was going to send you a 10 second clip but it appears I have deleted the bad video file. I had a friend capture it for me and only have that file now.

    I think I do have a copy of the bad video. I'm emailing a 4 second clip (AVI). In TMPG, I can use just about any of the deinterlace filters and see an improvement.
