so i have an old dell laptop. i need to run xp on it.. ME is way to crappy for me. The laptop wont boot to usb, has no floppy drive, no cd drive. I cant figure out how to do a network boot is there a way i can hook the internal lappy harddrive up in my desktop and partition it to boot to a linux distro that will let me boot the laptop to a usb stick with a windows installer on it? i could even get away with running ubuntu on it i guess. dosnt really matter.. its only purpose is to run a program called "tuner studio" and they have a linux version.
