Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone knows or is an installer in Montreal area (Quebec, Canada of course). Or even any shops that install.

I am guessing that anyone that doesn't know that, shouldn't be given unsupervised access to a computer.

Yeah, I did. But I'm asking if there's someone who installs modchips. And who wants a STARchip anyways...

didn't they have another thing towards the bottom that says they install chip? i thought i saw a mail-in chip service thing on there. oh well maybe not, my mistake. I'm sure there's places here in the states that you could send it too. I've seen alot of peeps post stuff about that here. good luck. yeah i guess your right, you can mail in to get a Star chip installed. have you checked into sending it to the states? that'll prolly cost you out the wazooo. might be easier to take a soldering class. I bet a good electronic repair shop could do it, maybe try calling around to some tv repair shops, or even industrial welding shops, they might be able to get you in the right direction. if you got a good diagram nad stuff, i bet any good solderer could handle it, but thats up to you dude, i know i'd be a little touchy about sending my PS2 to somewhere too.

Thx for your posts darthnip. I'm gonna go around some electronic shops/computer shops and question them. I already found some but they have only magic 3 ships. (not the 3.1) ... Oh well.

    I live in canada too
I know that you can send it to modchip.ca and they will install it that way shipping will not be to bad (friend had his installed there)

just go to the web site and contact them tell them your problem and go from there
