installing printer

    HI,I have a ZEROX PHASER 4500B PS that was hooked to another PC,i unhooked it,plugged into the other PC,down loaded drivers,went to add printer,hooked up parallel port,plugged in to usb port.
    Tried to do test page nothing happened,i know it is probably something simple&stupid i am missing but what.
    Any ideas would be appreciated,thanks

    HI,I got printer to work had to change the port settings as i have a parallel port on printer and usb port,had to tell PC that i was using usb port on PC,changed port and now it is working,thanks

    only need 1 cable, either usb or parallel but not both connected to printer & computer.

    HI,ddp,The hook up for the printer was only one wire parallel on printer and usb at PC end.
