hi, I was wondering if there is a way to install the xbox media player from a cd-rw instead of using the ftp method. I have the latest version of the player and i have decompressed it to a folder. it has the default.xbe file, xbox media player.cut, osd-mplayer-b.raw, osd-mplayer-a.raw, iso-8859-1-b.raw, iso-8859-1-a.raw, font.desc, codecs.conf, a bunch of folders, and 4 .xml files....can someone help?

If you can ftp acces your xbox then you should try installing boXplorer. It's a program to manage your files so you'd only have to use it to copy the content of the CD to your Apps folders on the Xbox HDD.
