I'm on an ADSL2+ connection. ISP - Optus Retail.

Sometimes my I download @14000kbps (1.75MBPS), but @ other times it slows to 1000/2000kbps (125-250KBPS), why does this happen?

I'll be downloading @ high speeds one night, and then the next morning it'll be slow?? Do not suggest cables and such have been tampered with, loose cables etc, they haven't/aren't. I try rebooting my modem sometimes, does that help?

It's just your ISP, the speeds vary. It happens everywhere, and there's not much you can do about it.
