    Hello,

I have a 60GB Japan PlayStation 3 and I would like to play online. I have an Ethernet Switch and put it in the PlayStation to the Ethernet Switch and it worked! But the internet connection failed, why? and please tell me step by step instructions and what do i need, I also have a Speedtouch Connection 330 and my PS3 version 1.81, my modem has no place to put an Ethernet in the modem, do I need a wireless router or I must have a modem with an ethernet? Please tell me!! Because I want to play online!!!! Am I missing something??

I'm guessing the switch is attached to you modem?

After plugging the PS3 into your switch try power-cycling your modem and then attempt to go online with the PS3 again.

How does your switch get a connection to your internet?
