I was given a Gateway laptop running Windows Vista. The internet connection wizard and access point show that I am connected to the internet. But when I open my browsers it says no connection. I have tried wireless and cable connection. I use Internet Explorer and Firefox for my browsers. Thanks for any advice. hogan

    Hai Hogan,
This situation also happen to me before, but if u check on Wireless Network Connection Status- IPv4@IPv6 Connectivity: (Still Show)No Internet access. When u Diagnose - the network is Hidden Network,Hidden network happened because your signal strengh to your prefered network is very low/weak. My suggestion - try moving n find area with better signal or find another network that with high signal strengh. Hope this simple info can give u 'an answer' for your problem.
