Here's a few suggestions for you

    Nero API version: 7.0.0.0
Update Nero. Quite a few fixes and enhancements since the version you're using. The latest is 7.7.5.1.

    Recorder: <HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H10N>Version: JL10
Update the firmware - the latest is JL12 - link.
The burner fully recognizes the discs but best to keep it up to date.

    File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS
Roxio and Nero don't always play so well so if it still fails uninstall Roxio and run the zap tool to remove all traces.

Another option to try - use ImgBurn to burn. You can set Shrink under select back up target to create an iso which you can then burn with Nero. Or for non iso files use the build mode.

Give those a go & let us know.

Thanks heaps binkie7. I will try what you've said in the next few days and post here how I go. I think it could be a driver problem. Thanks again for the advice.

Sorry I never replied to this, i wasn't able to try those things for a while and it kept slipping my mind to post back here. I just tried to burn a dvd then and it worked perfectly. It seemed that updating the firmware was the go. Thanks heaps for your help binkie7, sorry again for getting back so late.
