i decrypted The Grudge, saving it to my hard drive and when i go to open it up in shrink i get a invalid data in file and it says invalid data in file C:\DVD_Video\Video_TS\VTS\08|2.VOB
When i delete that file out it tells me the same error and says cannot find the file specified. Yet, I can open the movie thru shrink if i open it from the disk. Why cant i open it thru my hard drive?

Also, is there a way to reauthor using shrink or another (simple) program and still keep the menu but not the extras?

sorry if this has been asked before i briefly looked thru the tutorials and some of the previous threads but couldnt find a direct answer to my two questions.

    THanks!

the Grudge uses the new SOny Arccos protection, do a search and you'll find out more. Probably the easiest way around this is to download and use the latest version of DVD Decrypter, currently 3.5.4.0
