Iomega ZipCD 650i - Can I back up cd's with this burner?

    This burner is extremely old... The game I'm trying to backup has Safedisc 2/3 and I'm wondering if I'll be able to do this with this burner. Thanks.

    I copied the image and burned the image using alcohol 120 and it went successfully. Then when I go to load the game with the burned cd, it hangs at the splash screen, with the cd-rom and the hard drive lights staying on. Any ideas?
