iphone blacklisted

    My daughter brought a Iphone 4 from a market stall.

    It was working for a week or so

    Then in stopped

    I checked out the IMEI

    And came up as being blacklisted

    It was with O2 uk network originally

    It is on 6.1.2 firmware and jail broken

    is there anything that can be done to make it more than a iPod?

    If the IMEI got blocked, this means that the device can no longer be used as a cellular phone. you can continue making calls via WiFi using skpype, rebtel, viber, etc.

    Chances are the iphone got listed as stolen somewhere (carrier shop/police), if I were you i'd just return the handset to the nearest police office.
