iPod dead

    I have a 2nd Generation iPod.

    I cannot restore it. The updaters crash.

    iTunes will not recognise it. Windows explorer says it is not formatted.

    Help!

    If your computer cant even reconize it, it sounds like your ipod is done for, sorry. You might be able to send it into apple, but at that point just get a new one.
