Can Apple reproduce special characters in their free engraving service, specifically the heart symbol (alt shift 3). (Interestingly, I couldn't reproduce it here, hence my concern)

Engraving is the practice of incising a design on to a hard, usually flat surface, by cutting grooves into it. The result may be a decorated object in itself, as when silver, gold, steel, or glass are engraved, or may provide an intaglio printing plate, of copper or another metal, for printing images on paper as prints or illustrations; these images are also called engravings. From Wikipedia.
Is this what your asking about?

No, but thanks for your interest.
My question relates solely to Apple Corp's ability to reproduce a particular character in a process they supply as part of the service in selling iPods
