ok its been a while since i done this, it was on xp
click on start go to my computer, up the top where it says TOOLS click on it , go to where it says folder options, go to view, and where it says hidden files & folders, change to "show all files and folders" click apply
now put your ipod in and click on the D,E,F what ever drive it says
and you will see nearly "see through" folders in 1 of them there will be 50 more folders all your music/videos/pictures ect will be in there :)

thats very similar to what i did last time i tryed.I went straight into the ipod (e: or f:) found all the mp3 files and did a copy and paste.the only problem was most the tracks were not labelled correctly. All the tracks worked.

One is call File Explorer. I can also recommend icopyexpert. It will do some things not possible with file explorer.

guoquan, is it free? What I suggested was free. There is a free way to convert videos as well. Defab->Shrink->handbreak. That process is far more solid that the Swiss Army knife approach. I have Defab Platinum (not free), that will do everything in one click I sill use the slower approach because it works perfectly every time.
