i have a 60gb ipod video and the version is 1.2.1 according to itunes it is up to date but it dosnt have a tool were i can search my songs libary on my ipod, my mate has a 30gb video and he can search his songs on his ipod any suggestions?
i had the same thing when i updated my itunes. when u plug your ipod in and it comes up at the side of itunes click on music then you should get your library of music up and you can search through your songs. hope that helps
sorry wrong thing. You cant get search songs on the ipod, when you update it. my sister has the ipod that came with 1.2.1 and she had search songs on hers i updated mine and it didint come up i guess you cant do it.
The update for the newest firmware should have the search feature in it, as long as your iPod supports it.
