The PS3 reads External hardrives with Fat32,but ive always asumed the PS3 could read all MP3 players as they are usualy formated to Fat32.

It just has to be formatted into a fat32 drive, just plug it into your computer. Then right click on it under my computer. Then click format and choose fat32. Then put your music on it plug it into the ps3 and away you go.

Just do as Canuckerz says, but if you have stuff on it back it up before you format it.

Wait, if it shows up you just have to select it and you should see a list of all the stuff on the MP3 player. If not then hit triangle then play all.

Could you stick it in your PC,then right click and select properties and see what it says under "file system".

If it dosent work now and the PS3 detects it try getting the PS3 to format it, it should be under thr triangle menu if it can.
