    onto a DVD disk.

Yeah I guess...if its AVI, MPG.

    CD-R (VCD) yeah.

But not all dvd players play DVDs with AVI, MPG files on them. All dvd players will play a VCD with an MPG file on it.

I burn all my downloaded video files to DVD to watch on my DVD player. My player doesnt play DVD-R's with AVI, MPG or any PC video format.

I downloaded DivxToDVD which converts AVI, MPG ect to VOB so that you can make a DVD out of the file (work on any dvd player)

    DivxToDVD
