Is it possible to connect a regular dvd player to my pc?

    I would like to connect my dvd player to my pc. Does anyone know if it's possible and if so, how to do it.

    Hi, I just purchased the HAUPPAUGE 1020 WINTV-USB2,
    Link here, in order to connect a vcr through my usb 2.0 port to make my VHS tapes into dvd's. It hasn't arrived yet but it sounds like it might be one of MANY ways to do what your asking.

    Yes, most recent media based computers i.e. comprised with XP media Center 2005 are equiped with RCA jacks a multiple, USB ports, Fire Wire ports, and software that allow you to connect your VCR and transfer your VHS media to DVD.:p
