Is it possible to play backups without a mod chip?

    Hey all! Does anyone know if it is possible at all to play backup PS2 games without a modchip installed (such as by boot disk, etc.). Thanks a bunch in Advance!

    The answer to that is yes. Get SMD.

    anyone know where I can get SMD, or another program for booting up a backup PS2 game?
