is it safe to have orange lights forcontrollers

    is it safe to have orange lights for your controllers their not green and their orange i just fixed it up and wanted to know if this can lead to an error

    (AFAIK, if you put orange lights in an Xbox 360 you gain the ability to play PS3 games.)

    As long as you did a good job, and used the proper components you will not have a problem.

    i didnt put them there i had just fixed it and the green lights are yellowish orange

    orange lights sounds pretty risky

    It could be orange because it's not getting enough power, maybe a short somewhere. If it's a wireless controller it doesn't matter. A wired one with a hardware fault could damage the USB port on the console. Plug it into your computer and check the power consumption against another controller. You can do this in device manager in the properties of the USB root hub.
