is it wise to upgrade from a 1.5 version to a latest version?

    hi i have a 1.5 version psp. i want to upgrade. is it wise to do so? if yes please tell me how i can do it. and to what version should i upgrade to?

    depends what you want to do with it m8.

    The new versions have some new features, but if you use homebrew software and play "backups" from you memmory card, then updating to a newer custom firmware would a valid choice. Check out the Mods and Firmware PSP section of the forums for more info and instructions.

    No its not wise to upgrade to the latest fw. You should upgrade to 3.40 oe so you have all the features of the latest firmware and at the same time have a homebrew capable PSP.
