In November last year, I even paid a website to unlock it and they can't (didn't even refund me the money). So I try paying my Provider and they gave me a code that didn't work either. I saw on a thread here that someone actually unlock the phone. The code was again useless to me - got a Code Error. Have you tried another sim to confirm it is locked ? If locked then you are out of luck....all BB5 models have 3 attempts till they hardlock. Your only option is to wait till it can be done with hardware, and that is going to be some time. PRESS ME Click on banner for 24/7 unlocking
Guess I am out of luck then. I did try with a different SIM card. The number of attempts that I made trying to unlock this phone must have kicked the hardlock in already. Thanks for the reply!
