ive never backed up a ps2 game before but have done many dvd movies......is it the same?
for films i use dvd decrypter.....
    dvd2one....
and nero to burn on pioneer 108....
so how do i back up original ps2 games?
do they need to be decrypted or do i just copy the full dvd through nero.
    any advice appreciated
    thanx in advance

u need a modchip to play back ups. Either an internal chip or fliptop/swap magic disc. Then u make a full copy of the game. For decypter go to MODE iso read then iso write.

    thanx for the quick response......
i know i need a mod chip and pressume i can get this done at a local shop (the guy did my ps1)
the real question was how to back up.
is it really as simple as a straight forward copy through nero cause ive only ever done dvds and these are protected and need decoding
    cheers

yes, straight 1:1 copy. There are many programs to do it including alcohol 120%, nero, record max but dvd decrypter is the easiest.
    PS2 games don't need decoding.
