Is Sony DVD+R a good back up DVD?

    Or does everyone recommend Verbatim ONLY?

    personally im Verbatim, but since the prices are up and so is the demand i am going to start looking for cheaper alternatives.. im not sure about Sony but i would also like advice on a cheaper media.. see if you can buy 1 Sony disc.. tell me the outcome

    I use the 16x Sony dvd+r for single layer backups for the 360 and they work great.

    I still stick with Verb's for my dl backups.

    Well actually I've just started backing up, I bought a 5 pack of verbatim's and have tried 2, so far unsuccessfully. I'm sure it's not the dvd's though, just my not knowing how to do it properly. I've read and read but I guess there's something I'm not doing right. I get the iso, open it in clonecd and burn at 2.4 to 4x. Am I missing something?

    But I do ask about the sony's only because bestbuy is selling 25 for 35 bucks this week (35 bucks off)
