I am using DVD Shrink to create ISO image files on my hard drive but is there anything that will enable me to play these on my computer to check all is ok before burning them to DVD ?

As I outlined in http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/107600, if you have Nero 6 use "ImageDrive", or if you have an older version that doesn't have ImageDrive you can download "DAEMON Tools" at http://www.daemon-tools.cc/ for free. It allows you to have up to 4 virtual DVD-ROM drives at once.

DAEMON Tools also supports the following image files:

    cue/bin
    iso
    ccd (CloneCD)
    bwt (Blindwrite)
    mds (Media Descriptor File)
    cdi (Discjuggler)
    nrg (Nero)
    pdi (Instant CD/DVD)
    b5t (BlindWrite 5)

    You can use Shrink.

Open Shrink -> click File, then open disc image -> push play in the lower left box :)

PowerDVD 5 will also open a ISO.

Very true flip218, however, when mounted to a virtual drive, you can test the ISO in ANY application. (not to argue- just pointing it out) ;-)
