is there a way to test chip

    i just got my wiikey and installed, also got my media, but still waiting for lg drive so i want to know how do i know if chip is working(installed well).

    i tried the config disc and comes up and when i saved the settings i hear things moving in the wii

    does the chip have to be installed properly for the setup disc to work, because mine does

    any help appreciated

    you could try to install the update if that works you know your chip works

    Yes the chip as to be installed for the setup disc to work.
    Burning and running the setup disc is the easiest way to test your wii!

    is there any special way to run that disc? Or do you just pop it in and it should load from the disc menu. I am trying to figure out if my chip works too
